KUWAIT: Minister of Education Jalal Al-Tabtabaei met Thursday with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed Al-Qasim, and his accompanying delegation to discuss ways to enhance educational cooperation between the two countries. In a press statement, the Ministry of Education said the meeting reviewed the strong educational ties linking the two brotherly nations and explored mechanisms to further develop collaboration within the framework of the existing educational cooperation agreement. The discussions also addressed the executive procedures required to activate the agreement’s provisions and expand joint programs aimed at advancing the education systems in both countries.
The meeting was attended by Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education Mohammed Al-Khaldi, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs Hamad Al-Hamad, Director General of Educational Support Services Mariam Al-Anzi and Director of Public Relations and Educational Media Department Arwa Al-Ayyar. The Emirati delegation included Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services Hamad Bal-Muhaina, Acting Director of the International Cooperation Department Asma Al-Tunaiji, Senior Protocol Specialist Ahmed Al-Obaidli, Special Projects Specialist Reem Al-Nuaimi and International Relations Specialist Amira Al-Amiri. — KUNA
