KUWAIT: First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah on Wednesday attended the swearing-in ceremony of a group of female recruits from the Women’s Police Institute, marking the start of their careers in national service. In a statement, the Ministry of Interior said the ceremony took place in the presence of Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Major General Ali Al-Adwani and several senior security officials.
The ministry explained that the ceremony included four graduates from the 14th class who were appointed as lieutenants, two from the same class who were appointed as warrant officers, and one graduate from the 13th class who was appointed as corporal.
The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to empowering women and expanding their participation in the security field, underscoring its continuous efforts to provide opportunities for Kuwaiti women to serve their country in various capacities.
