KUWAIT: Acting Interior Ministry Undersecretary Major General Ali Al-Adwani on Thursday chaired a meeting with heads of security sectors to review the latest security developments and operational workflow across the Ministry of Interior. In a press statement, the ministry said Al-Adwani conveyed the greetings of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah to the attendees and expressed appreciation for the efforts of ministry personnel in maintaining the security of the homeland, citizens and residents.
He commended the dedication and continuous work of staff across various security sectors, emphasizing the need to enforce the law without exception to strengthen justice and uphold the prestige of legal institutions. Al-Adwani stressed the importance of coordination and integration among the ministry’s sectors and called for raising field readiness to ensure rapid response to emergencies while adhering to approved deployment plans and maintaining security presence at vital sites and public facilities.
The Acting Undersecretary highlighted the importance of implementing the “open door” policy to encourage direct communication between leadership and employees and foster a positive work environment. He also directed intensified field efforts to ensure smooth traffic flow, control violations, and maintain road safety, emphasizing discipline and commitment in executing security duties with precision and responsibility.
Al-Adwani affirmed that the Ministry of Interior continues to perform its duties efficiently to safeguard national security and stability while implementing the directives of the supreme political leadership. The statement added that the meeting addressed ways to develop and streamline service delivery for citizens and residents by simplifying procedures and employing modern technologies, enhancing performance efficiency, and improving public services.
