Liverpool attacker Florian Wirtz scored for Germany, while Cody Gakpo recorded an assist for the Netherlands during Sunday’s international action.
The Reds saw several players feature in World Cup qualifying fixtures for their respective countries throughout the day.
Wirtz netted impressively for his nation as he faced off against club teammate Conor Bradley in a Group A contest.
The pair both completed the full match with Germany running out 3-1 winners over Northern Ireland in Cologne.
Wirtz scored the final goal of the evening, brilliantly curling a free-kick into the back of the net to seal the spoils.

Gakpo, meanwhile, helped the Netherlands to a 3-2 victory over Lithuania in Group G, appearing alongside Reds captain Virgil van Dijk.
The forward saw his low cross find teammate Memphis Depay to open the scoring in Kaunas in a back-and-forth affair.
Ryan Gravenberch, meanwhile, was an unused substitute in the fixture, though Gakpo and Van Dijk finished the full game.
And, earlier in the day, goalkeeper Giorgi Marmardashvili kept a clean sheet for Georgia in Group E as they defeated Bulgaria 3-0 in Tbilisi.
