KUWAIT: Acting Interior Ministry Undersecretary Maj Gen Ali Al-Adwani announced the ministry’s general department of information systems will introduce more advanced security technology services in the coming period, aimed at boosting operational efficiency and improving service quality for citizens and residents.
This came during Al-Adwani’s inspection tour of the general department of information systems, where he reviewed several technical divisions and observed work procedures. He praised the high level of commitment and professionalism he witnessed, stressing the importance of continuously developing performance to ensure accuracy and speed in service delivery.
During the visit, Al-Adwani was briefed on electronic systems and smart services launched by the department to simplify security and administrative procedures through the unified government e-services application Sahel and the ministry’s official website. The visit also included a presentation of current and upcoming projects designed to upgrade the ministry’s technical infrastructure and strengthen integration among its various sectors in line with the latest international standards in security technology and e-services. — KUNA
