KUWAIT: The Ministry of Health Wednesday launched the first awareness campaign at the Avenues Mall to inform the public on Kuwait National Health Survey and necessity to Kuwait’s vision for sustainable development and ensuring the health of future generations.The project is part of the state’s development plan and aims to randomly surveying 12,000 individuals from 8,000 families across all sectors of society including nationals and residents.
The survey objectives include measuring the health status and health trends of the population, evaluating the quality and efficiency of health services, supporting health planning based on accurate data, and enhancing disease monitoring and analyzing health risk factors. Participation will proceed with a notification sent via the “Sahel” application to selected households, with the option to choose the time and place of the survey.Specialized teams from the Ministry of Health will conduct the survey and collect health data using the latest protection technologies to ensure confidentiality of the information.
The benefits of the process include improving the quality of healthcare and enhancing the quality of life in Kuwait and support health planning to provide advanced services that meet the needs of the population. — KUNA
