KUWAIT: For the second consecutive year, the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Center (ASCC) is partnering with the Public Authority for Minors Affairs in a cultural and scientific volunteer program aimed at fostering community service among youth. The center welcomed a group of volunteers under a program designed to develop their skills, providing them with opportunities to gain new experiences in communication, organization, and teamwork, according to a statement from the center.
This month-long collaboration integrates volunteers into daily staff activities, with the goal of “instilling values of social responsibility in spreading culture and science.
“Volunteering is one of the important activities for community development, especially for young people, and is one of the main goals the center works to achieve in various cultural and scientific fields,” the center said in a statement. The initiative also aims to enhance the educational and cultural role of the center through events and workshops that deliver knowledge to different visitor groups and improve their overall experience. — KUNA
