KUWAIT: A group of Kuwaiti innovators are showcasing their projects at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 in Las Vegas, as Kuwait looks to strengthen its presence on the global technology stage. The Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity said on Monday it selected a group of innovators and entrepreneurial projects to take part in the exhibition, which runs from January 6 to 9 in the United States.
CES is the world’s largest technology and innovation exhibition. It is organized annually by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and attracts more than 142,000 visitors, bringing together entrepreneurs, startups, investors, media and major global companies.
The center said the participation gives Kuwaiti innovators direct exposure to global technology trends and a chance to build strategic relationships with experts and investors from more than 150 countries. It added that the experience will help prepare participants to expand into international markets and engage more deeply with global innovation ecosystems.
The center described the participation as a comprehensive strategic experience focused on learning, networking and openness, with the aim of creating a lasting impact on Kuwait’s national innovation ecosystem. It stressed its continued commitment to empowering Kuwaiti innovation and strengthening its global presence.
Among the participants is Hussein Al-Saffar, who is presenting LumenPro – an AI-powered creative platform for Arabic-first creators and businesses, offering seamless tools for image and video generation, enhancement and editing.
Ahmed Al-Hameed is participating with Kashcool, a next-generation smart education platform that combines interactive content with artificial intelligence. The platform provides personalized learning through interactive lessons, educational videos and adaptive smart tests.
Hamad Al-Shakhs will present QETAE, a digital platform focused on the automotive sector and spare parts. The project connects car owners with repair workshops and spare parts suppliers through a smart multi-vendor digital marketplace.
Saad Al-Mutairi is participating with Kaffy, a smart payment and identity verification system that uses palm vein biometrics. The system offers high security and fast, contactless use.
Abdullah Saleem is showcasing Mushtari, an integrated platform for buying and selling businesses across the Arab world. The platform includes a marketplace for projects, an educational academy, an entrepreneurs’ community and an investor network to support business growth and exits.
Reem Al-Farhan is participating with a smart digital platform that aggregates and displays tenders and commercial and investment opportunities in the public and private sectors. The project aims to enhance transparency and help entrepreneurs and suppliers access accurate, up-to-date data.
Noor Al-Fadhli is presenting Vehab, a digital platform that supports remote physiotherapy. The platform allows specialists to monitor patients and guide rehabilitation exercises using simple programs and virtual reality technologies.
Rasha Al-Asfar’s project is Cont.tech, a smart creative studio for visual content production that combines human creative direction with modern technological tools.
The center said the projects were selected after a rigorous evaluation process that considered product readiness, expected impact and global scalability. The selected projects span key sectors including artificial intelligence, education, financial technology, digital health and automotive services, which the center said reflects the diversity and strength of Kuwait’s innovation ecosystem. — KUNA
