KUWAIT: Minister of Health Dr Ahmad Al-Awadhi, inaugurated the Nasser Abdulmohsen Al-Saeed Specialized Center for Pediatric Dentistry on Sunday in the Abdullah Al-Salem. The center is designed to provide comprehensive dental care for children up to 16 years old. Speaking to reporters after the opening, Dr Al-Awadhi praised the center’s state-of-the-art equipment and advanced medical technologies. He noted that the facility houses more than 49 specialized dental clinics and nine radiology rooms equipped with the latest devices worldwide. The center also includes emergency rooms, laboratories, a pharmacy and conference halls for medical discussions and training.
“The center brings together a wide range of pediatric dental specialties, making it a leading medical facility that meets the highest international standards in design, equipment and healthcare services,” he said. “It reflects the deep spirit of giving that is rooted in the people of Kuwait.”
Dr Al-Awadhi emphasized the ministry’s commitment to staffing the center with qualified Kuwaiti doctors and dentists, trained at top global universities, to ensure children receive the best possible care according to the latest medical standards.
The center also features clinics dedicated to children with special needs, alongside essential facilities including a pharmacy, storage areas, laboratories, emergency and recovery rooms, sterilization units, and training and lecture halls. A dedicated children’s recreation area and advanced technical systems, including integrated communication and monitoring networks and backup power generators, have been installed to ensure uninterrupted, high-quality service. — KUNA
