KUWAIT: Alghanim Industries (Kutayba Alghanim Group) reaffirmed its commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement by participating in a tree-planting initiative at Sabah Garden. Organized in collaboration with Al Passion, the Sabah Al-Salem Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah Foundation, and several volunteer groups, the event coincided with both International Volunteer Day and World Soil Day—reflecting the company’s focus on meaningful, sustainability-driven community programs.
The one-day initiative brought together employees and their families, who worked collectively to plant native trees across the community garden. The hands-on format encouraged genuine participation, allowing volunteers to contribute directly to Kuwait’s environmental development by supporting biodiversity, expanding green spaces and improving air quality.

The activity strengthened teamwork while delivering tangible benefits to the broader community. During the event, Sheikha Maryam Al-Sabah, General Manager of the Sabah Al-Salem Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah Foundation, addressed participants and highlighted the mission behind Sabah Garden.
She remarked: “Sabah Garden was developed to create a community space that brings people closer to nature while supporting innovation, education and community service. The garden provides opportunities for practical learning, encourages sustainable practices and engages visitors of all ages. Through this initiative, we aim to strengthen environmental responsibility and support a culture of community participation.” Kutayba Alghanim, Executive Chairman of Alghanim Industries, also commended the efforts of participating employees and volunteers.
