KUWAIT: The KUNA Center for Development of Media launched its “Mobile Journalism” training program on Sunday, which will run until December 18, with the participation of staff from KUNA and Qatar News Agency (QNA). The program focuses on the fundamentals of smartphone journalism, including the use of various tools, photography techniques for interviews and diverse shots, audio recording, and capturing clear, natural sound. It also aims to enhance participants’ practical skills in photography, video production, and editing using smartphone applications and smart devices.
Trainees will gain insights into the importance of mobile journalism, multimedia story production, and planning techniques for creating visually compelling stories with clear chronological sequences. The program equips participants with the skills to plan, produce, and publish visual content solely using their smartphones, covering photojournalism, audio narration, and professional video production and editing on mobile devices.
